Holst Garn Coast is a blend of 55% Merino Lambswool and 45% Cotton
It is available in cake balls a 50 gr and cones at approx 500 grams.
Holst Garn Coast is a 2-ply yarn mixed by 55% Merino Lambswool and 45% Cotton.
The combination of these two fibers results in a very luxurious soft and lightweight yarn that can be worn directly on the skin by even the most sensitive people - and it is perfect for new borns as well.
Holst Garn Coast can be used for both knitting and crochet - a great yarn that can be knit/crochet with 1 or more threads together.
Approximately 350 meters/383 yards per 50 gram
Note: The yarn is delivered unwashed and contains a bit of spinning oil and excess dye.
1 thread Coast at needles 2.5-3 mm / US 2-3 : Approx. 26 stitches = 10 cm / 4 inches
2 threads Coast at needles 4-4.5mm / US 6-7 : Approx. 21 stitches = 10 cm / 4 inches
1 thread Coast + 1 thread Titicaca or Lucia at needles 4-4.5 mm / US 7-8 : Approx. 21 stitches = 10 cm / 4 inches
Coast can be machine washed on cold program. You will see how the yarn develops and “blooms” and the yarn will become extremely soft.

Note: Holst Garn Coast contains a bit of spinning oil and excess dye. The oil and excess dye will disappear at the first wash.
This colour is gorgeous for a spring top. I love how soft this yarn turned out after washing. It will definitely be one of my go-to choice.
Beautiful and really soft! I bought this yarn some years ago, but I started knitting with it only few months ago. I was really surprised by the the transformation that takes place after washing, it becomes really soft! It knits in an easy way, I sampled it with two threads because I needed a 20-21 stitches sample, and it came out great. Very satisfied, I hope that the other yarns are also so beautiful!
