Coast is a 2-ply yarn, mixed by 55% Merino Lambswool and 45% Cotton.
It is a unique soft yarn - Perfect for new borns, very sensitive people and anyone who just want to enjoy the softness.

1 thread Coast at needles 2.5-3 mm / US 2-3 : Approx. 26 stitches = 10 cm / 4 inches
2 threads Coast at needles 4-4.5mm / US 6-7 : Approx. 21 stitches = 10 cm / 4 inches
1 thread Coast + 1 thread Titicaca or Lucia at needles 4-4.5 mm / US 7-8 : Approx. 21 stitches = 10 cm / 4 inches
Coast can be machine washed on cold program. You will see how the yarn develops and “blooms” and the yarn will become extremely soft.

Note: Holst Garn Coast contains a bit of spinning oil and excess dye. The oil and excess dye will disappear at the first wash.
